Cem Yeniocak, has a strong background in pioneering legal areas such as sports law, e-sports law, IT law (personal data protection, anti-money laundering, artificial intelligence law) and start-up law. He has provided guidance on compliance management and data protection projects for a range of companies and institutions.
Yeniocak, completed his Master’s in Public Law with a thesis titled “The Crime of Recording Personal Data” and he is currently pursuing his PhD in the “Anti Money Laundering (AML)” at Istanbul Kültür University. He has served as a member of the advisory board for IT law and as a lecturer, and has also assumed the role of founding coordinator for graduate programs.
He has delivered lectures on personal data protection law, start-up law and sports law at a number of universities and has participated in national conferences as a speaker and trainer. Mr. Yeniocak holds the “C” level Basketball Management certificate from the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and previously served as head coach of the Istanbul Kültür University Women’s Basketball team. He is also the founder of BumerangData, a project on verification systems integrated with personal data protection and contract law.
